I counter checked and created a test project in XP, inserted ASR saved, worked all rightĬopied the XP project to PC win7 and it worked all right I inserted another instance of the plug in win7 in that project and saved, reopened and worked all right I saved in xp and opened the project in win7, it worked all right I copied the win7 frozen project to my laptop xp sp3 and it played all right Nomad Analog Studio Rack Freezes after session saved with the active plug and reopened.
I made a crazy experiment and sent it in email to Harrison and Nomad to help find the problem Thanks for calling our attention to this nightmare. I have a lot other older Nomad plugs and all work great in all MBs I have, even stay on top and allow hit space play/stop/play while the plugs are being tweaked without clicking all over the world.ĪSR works great in other DAWs so not a "virus", only seems alien to MB. Not very reassuring.įrom the backup folder other snapshots (not containing the dammed plug) seem working when dragged into the project folder and opened from the: browse/ folder path. The whole song project folder is lost for useīut after restarting the whole PC (Win7/64) only the snapshot containing the active ASR freezes all the time when hitting play, the other snapshots always give a note but sometimes do not crash.
Furthermore in MB2.5 it crashes at opening (when hitting play) all the snapshots and saved-as mixes the project folder contains if an active instance of ASR had been inserted even in only one of the saved snapshots.
